The Santa Barbara Zoo houses 160 species of mammals, reptiles, birds and insects, with more than 500 exhibits. The entrance is adjacent to Dwight Murphy Field, just off Highway 101. This zoo features a group of animals that are breeding, and are on either the threatened or endangerd species list.
